To prepare the calibration standards, standards use as Quality control samples, reagents needed for the test
To pre- treat sample.
To carry out laboratory analysis of samples according to competency and as per current work distribution list and other parameters when necessary in a safe and tidy manner.
To label standards, including calibration and for quality control and the reagents with the concentration and expiry date.
To label media, reference culture for quality control and the reagents with the concentration and expiry date.
To prepare worksheet to be attached to the job card
To perform verification of laboratory volumetric ware, stopwatch, thermometers and spectrophotometers.
To carry out Intermediate check for equipment like daily temperature monitoring for the incubators, oven, water bath, freezer, water bath COD reactor/digestor.
To maintain the testing equipment as per Equipment maintenance and calibration schedule
To ensure all electrical appliances / apparatus are switched off properly in the working area when not in use.
To maintain the laboratory?s quality system.
To assist in waste treatment and waste disposal.
To comply with the Occupational Safety & Health policy of the Company.
To carry out daily one point check and repeatability check for balance.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Food technology or Microbiological.
Minimum 1 year or 2 years of working experience in Microbiological Analysis
Good in written and oral communication skills
Can work independently. A team player with strong initiative and able to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
Have a basic knowledge of on chemistry/Laboratory testing
