Job Description

Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry items according to hotel or organization standards Collect, wash, dry, fold, and organize sports attire and towels, ensuring they are placed in their designated areas Operate and maintain laundry machines, irons, and other equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Keep accurate records of laundry operations, including items received, cleaned, and returned Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies, detergents, and linens Respond and perform appropriately to special laundry requests from immediate superiors

Job Requirements

Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry role is preferable Understanding different types of fabrics and their specific care requirements Must possess basic knowledge of washing machines, irons, and other laundry equipment Must be able to lift heavy laundry bags and stand for extended periods Attention to detail: A keen eye is essential for inspecting items, treating stains, and ensuring quality standards are met Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to complete tasks on time Good communication skills to coordinate with other staff and report maintenance issues as necessary
