Direct/Indirect Indicator: IndirectSummarySystems & Applications Design is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that works with cross functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development.
The Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications designs, integrates, and manages complex systems over their life cycles. They are engineering leads engaged in issues such as requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for successful system design, development, implementation, and ultimate decommission. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:Ensure that manufacturer test processes\' strategy, flows, processes and requirements and plans are in place to
meet customer expectations
\xe2\x97\x8f Meet and exceed program management metrics for manufacture test development activities on every
project/program, be on schedule
\xe2\x97\x8f Enable Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve capability and efficiency within the manufacturing test
strategy team
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with cross-functional teams ( Hardware, Software, Manufacturing ) to drive structural test coverage
and functional test coverage meets expectationsKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar field
\xe2\x97\x8f More than 6-8 years\' experience in manufacture test or related areas
\xe2\x97\x8f Backgrounds knowledge of manufacture test processes\' and requirements\' design and development.
\xe2\x97\x8f Backgrounds knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards,
subassemblies, or other related company products
\xe2\x97\x8f Interacts with customer for test strategy, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to design tests, evaluate results and recommend solutions to improve the processes associated with
PCBA test manufacturing
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of circuits and electronics
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate multiple
\xe2\x97\x8f Experiences in test diagnostic coding is a plus with Shell script, Python scripts
\xe2\x97\x8f Backgrounds knowledge of Functional Test methodologies of Intel x86 architecture and Linux test environment.
\xe2\x97\x8f Backgrounds knowledge of Stress Test methodologies and modeling, such as Burn-In, Environmental Stress
Screening, Vibration, etcPhysical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
