General Overview Job Title: Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing Functional Area: Engineering (ENG) Career Stream: Test Engineering Manufacturing (TEM) Role: Lead Engineer (LEN) Job Code: LEN-ENG-TEM Job Band: 08 Direct/Indirect Indicator: Indirect Summary The Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized. Detailed Description Job Responsibilities : Review and establish of the rework and repair process as subject matter expert at rework process. Identify components that are unserviceable and the work scope required for the repair of the components Participate in evaluation and selection of vendors and services on the basis of the ability to meet the requirements of the repair of components as well as company requirements including the quality system and regulatory requirements Work and negotiate with repair vendors, subcontractors and other related service providers for the repairs of the unserviceable components Ensure repair orders are issued and approved in accordance to the requirements of the repair, and that the repaired and serviceable components are serviced in accordance to the repair orders. Review any warranty requirement and submit accordingly Review monthly reports with the repair vendors and service providers, as well as the strip reports of the serviced components Participate in the evaluation of the key performance indicators of repair vendors and service providers Work together with the Reliability team to review any trend on component removals on the fleet and provide input that could lead to improvements to the reliability of components. Participate in review of repairs with customers and prepare reports as required by customers. Interface with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value, and a high level of customer service Deliver the needs of any other tasks as instructed and relevant to the role and the Repair Team Role Responsibili Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Able to prioritize, focus, persevere, manage time well and aim to deliver from start to finish (good project management skills), while being tolerant and having patience with people Confident, self-initiator, great coordinator and able to adopt change Detail oriented, creative, analytical and good with numbers and analysis tools (MS-Excel /Google Sheet) Positive with self and others, good in relationship management and able to influence others Have integrity, ethical, respectful and service minded able to collaborate with others from different cultures with different values, excellent in providing customer service and stakeholder management Able to network with others, be a team player curious and strive for learning & self development Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Good negotiation and commercial thinking skills Physical Demands Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. Occasional travel may be required.
