About the RoleThe Kuala Lumpur office stands as the technological heart of MoneyLion, where innovation meets ambition in the fast-evolving fintech landscape. We are a beacon for those who dare to challenge the norms of traditional finance, offering a platform for multicultural visionaries and industry rebels. We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Engineer with deep expertise in JavaScript, encompassing both Web UI frameworks and Node.js for API development. This role is pivotal in crafting state-of-the-art user interfaces, optimizing UI/UX to exceed expectations, and seamlessly integrating product APIs within our Node.js applications. As a lead within the frontend web team, you will ensure the resilience and maintainability of the MoneyLion web ecosystem, spanning various layers of infrastructure. Your leadership will be instrumental in propelling the fintech industry forward with our cutting-edge engineering team.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to strategize and develop new features for the frontend web system.
• Design and implement robust UI components and front-end libraries.
• Lead the development and execution of unit and integration tests for our web applications.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Maintain and update user documentation to reflect new features, design patterns, or architectural modifications.
• Enhance the web application's maintainability and stability, aiming for optimal performance and adherence to core web vitals standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the web application.

About You

• Over 2+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership role.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering functional web applications or overseeing web application projects.
• Profound knowledge of JavaScript, with proficiency in TypeScript being an added advantage.
• Expertise in UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), state management libraries, and their fundamental principles.
• Extensive experience in developing NodeJs applications, including API integration and working with third-party libraries.
• Well-versed in modern frontend CI/CD pipelines and development tools.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to lead a cross-functional team.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
