Job Overview

The Lead, Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. This role will be responsible to manage day-to-day financial processes and support business decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Finance

a) Financial Planning and Analysis:

i. Prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets.

ii. To monitor budget utilisation

b) Financial Reporting:

i. Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

ii. Oversee the consolidation of financial reports from various towers as well as group.

iii. Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders when necessary periodically.

c) Cash Flow Management:

i. Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure liquidity.

ii. Responsible for timely payments to all vendors and suppliers (Daily operations)

iii. Optimize the use of working capital and manage investment portfolios.

d) Compliance and Audit:

i. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

ii. Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

e) Taxation

i. Liaise with tax agent on all matters regarding annual tax assessment

ii. Liaise with tax agent to ensure compliance of with-holding tax.

2. Procurement

a) Procurement Strategy:

i. Implement procurement policies and procedures.

b) Vendor Management:

i. Manage day to day operations in terms of vendor management (PO, Invoice and other documentation.

c) Procurement Operations:

i. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment.

ii. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and expenditures.

3. Others

a) Liaison officer for MD Status matters and other Govt agencies (if any)

Skills/Competencies:

i. Proven experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

ii. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial software applications.

iii. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

iv. Others: Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong drive for continuous learning and growth.

Qualification:

At least Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance or any related field or equivalent.

Experience:

More than 5 years in similar roles.

Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and latest compliance requirements i.e. Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax laws and internal control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
