Is this your next challenge in Human Resources As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Lead at Guardian, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance and people-centric culture. With a focus on strategic HR initiatives, you will work closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development in our dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. Key Tasks and Responsibilities 1. Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities, and align HR strategies accordingly. Provide HR guidance to leaders on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning. 2. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management on HR-related issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. Address employee concerns, conflicts, and conduct investigations when necessary, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 3. Talent Development: Partner with the Learning and Development team to design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies. Identify high-potential employees and create career development plans to nurture and retain top talent. 4. Performance Management: Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback, to drive employee performance and development. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions. 5. Employee Engagement: Implement engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and action plans, to improve employee satisfaction and retention. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion. 6. Compliance and HR Policies: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance HR processes. 7. Data Analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization in HR programs and processes. Prepare regular HR reports for senior management. Qualifications: Proven experience as an HRBP or similar HR role in a retail environment, preferably in a large organization managing 2000 employees In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all organizational levels. Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
