About Our Client

Our client is a leading global player within the property/real estate sector with both established and growing properties portfolio in prime international locations. They also established partnerships and joint ventures with other conglomerates in the countries they invest in. The successful partnerships have enabled them to broaden their reach, expand the capital base for investment and also sustain their successful track record of investment performance. They are now looking to hire the Lead for Investment in their Malaysia business to work in collaboration with the investment specialists in their regional and global teams to expand their portfolio and to continue to deliver strong investment performance.

• Assist to prepare financial analysis of the Venture(s) and also for projects / acquisitions and compare to the financial performance criteria (historical and forecasting basis)
• Prepare financial models for the Venture(s) and projects / acquisitions
• Prepare research and background information on the Venture(s), competitors, markets and other relevant areas pertaining to the Venture(s) and its investments and as required by the market, analysts and investors
• Track and maintain new portfolio transactions and capital expenditure programs
• Financial analysis of potential investments and capital expenditure projects
• Portfolio revaluations including database maintenance and timetable preparation
• Maintain internal valuation models
• Prepare feasibility studies and recommendations for new acquisitions
• Financial modelling and forecast for investments and the Fund
• Capital markets research and preparations for equity raising including drafting and preparations of Prospectuses, Information Memorandums and similar documentation

The Successful Applicant

• Relevant degree from a recognised / accredited university
• Professional qualifications will be an added advantage
• Mandatory: Relevant work experience in investment of industrial properties which must comprise logistics, warehouse and similar type of properties
• Level, Designation and Remuneration will be accorded based on overall experience level and seniority
• Familiarity and passion for investments in industrial properties involving logistics, warehousing
• Strong relationship management skills, and demonstrable ability to gain trust from investors and financiers
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, communication, leadership and problem solving skills
• Driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence and tolerance for ambiguity and change
• Deep analytical, research and technical skills
