Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor

to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our machinery. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize machinery performance.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, guide, and train maintenance staff; manage work schedules effectively.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and update maintenance schedules; monitor spare parts inventory.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives by implementing new technologies and methods.

Administration:

Manage work orders in SAP with detailed notes; track maintenance costs within budget.

Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors; provide reports to the Engineering Manager.

Emergency Support:

Respond promptly to urgent repairs and unexpected breakdowns.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering with

minimum 5 years

of relevant experience. Diploma in the same fields with

minimum 8 years

of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

Proven

leadership and people management

skills. Strong

troubleshooting and problem-solving

abilities. Hands-on maintenance experience with pumps, gears, valves, piping, conveyors, etc. Good communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage). Familiarity with

SAP

is preferred. Flexible to work extended hours and respond to emergencies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Safety-conscious with deep knowledge of compliance standards.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
