Position Summary:

Responsible for providing product information to manufacturing and marketing such as Yields, BOM, Distribution, Utilization, Binning, Routes, Part numbers, Product Specification, ,PPAP, customer request (CLXR) in order to support product delivery and new product introductions. Supports product introduction and process engineering by formulating and ensuring alignment of PFMEA, Control Plan. Drives product improvement and solutions to problems by providing analysis and recommendation related to opportunities and issues that are product related (utilization, LYTs level and material NCPs, PRT) .

What You Will Do:

• Lead in the evaluation of changes in product flow, routes, test specs, new material or parts, geared toward improving product yields, distribution performance and quality.
• Analyze, monitors and publish regular reports about product performance and capability (yields, utilization, distribution) , recommends actions to marketing, supply chain management and manufacturing in order to optimize utilization, yield and capacity.
• Supports Customer Request for product modifications, and special or new performance requirements. Updates PPAP and CLXR forms to documents changes and request made.
• Translate DFMEA to PFMEA, to support new product introduction, monitor and integrate these documents with process specifications and line operating instructions to ensure alignment of requirements.
• Ownership and maintenance of Product documents like BOM, Routing, Binning Structure, Part numbers, test specification, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plan.
• Lead in the analysis of product problems caused by material quality, process excursion. Support process improvement and problem analysis.
• Buy off new test software before implementation.
• Lead, support and coach fellow Product Engineers / Process engineers when needed.
• Safety and Environment. Conform and lead by example.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Knowledge on structured improvement approach ( Statistical techniques as SE, DOE, Six Sigma etc)
• Organization, planning, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience - project management or product engineering team supervision.
• Combine experience in any of the 2 functions; Product, Process, Test and NPI engineering
• Problem solving tools (7 QC tools, 8D).
• Functional / working knowledge of product or process, or test engineering.
• Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, Control Plan, PPAP.
