Enhanced due diligence (EDD) is used by global organizations to mitigate and protect against reputational damage during the on-boarding of higher-risk customers. Enhanced Due Diligence Reports form part of a best-practice, risk-based approach as well as providing a critical framework during the anti-money laundering and know your customer compliance and on-boarding life-cycle that enable organizations to align with all vital regulatory requirements. Role purpose: (Accountability) Your primary task is to prepare Enhanced Due Diligence Reports. Role outputs: (Activities and tasks) You will undertake research as an essential member of the research team by: Conducting extensive qualitative research on companies and individuals Capturing the right intelligent information from external sources and internal proprietary sources Analyzing and summarizing the research information in a timely and accurate manner while aligning with the relevant research guidelines and legislation Preparing in-depth and comprehensive reports Translating non-English language documents (if applicable) Reporting and relationships: You will: Report to the Research Supervisor or Senior Research Supervisor Interact with colleagues from other functions for queries related to client\'s requirements Role requirements : (Knowledge, experience, skills and proficiencies) You should be able to demonstrate the following: Strong English comprehension and writing skills Ability to work fluently (spoken and written) in Thai Passionate about research work pertaining to reputational risk, including criminal, political and compliance risks Enjoy reading news, following current events and analyzing large amount of information from media sources Be meticulous when preparing in-depth and comprehensive reports Able to think critically to analyze issues Attention to detail and deliver on time Leading multiple tasks and activities at a time Well-developed communication skills, in particular questioning and listening skill Experience of working in Microsoft applications at intermediate level Able to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment Recent graduates are encouraged to apply At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
