Lead Security Engineer

We're partnering with our client to seek an experienced Lead Security Engineer to strengthen their cloud, application, and IT infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership in both offensive and defensive security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead application and infrastructure security assessments (DAST/SAST). Manage vulnerability assessment, endpoint protection, and incident response. Implement and optimize native cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365. Oversee IAM configurations and enforce least-privilege principles. Support compliance initiatives and security posture improvements. Drive automation, evaluate tools, and apply security best practices.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT or cloud security. Proficient in tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, InsightIDR, InsightCloudSec, Microsoft Defender, and Trend Micro. Strong understanding of CSPM, IaC security, SIEM, NIST, OWASP, and CIS frameworks. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Additional Details:

Participation in on-call rotation for critical incidents. Occasional evening or weekend support may be required.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
