ABOUT UOB INNOVATION HUB 2
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux and/or Windows servers (physical and virtual)
Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions as per Standards
Patch Management using a commercial tool
Maintain compliance with security baselines.
Performance Tuning , creating custom services, and trouble applications for performance.
Write and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell for routine tasks.
Installing Third party tools like oracle client, MQ, etc.. as requested by the application teams
Documentation & Change Management
The candidate must have 6-9 Yrs of working experience in the following areas:-
Technical hands on experience in building Linux or windows server
Well versed in working on Unix/Linux OS
Application deployment automation using python, groovy or other scripting languages
Familiar with system and database backup/restore, disaster recovery procedures and Load balancers
Experience in vendor product software installation and documentation of installation steps
Able to document the technical architecture using servers and network diagrams
Candidate with the following knowledge will be preferred :-
Unix/Linux administration
Working experience in DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket)
Excellent knowledge of MS SQL-Server / Oracle
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Lead a small team of 5-10 engineers
