About the role

Work Location: Malaysia or Singapore
Reporting To: Senior Manager - Commercial Academy
Travel: 25% within South Asia Pacific

This role is fully responsible for delivery and deployment of global content within region. It includes conducting locally tailored workshops for the Commercial Sales team, supporting various business initiatives across multiple departments, and ensuring on-the-job learning in collaboration with internal managers. Accountabilities extend to running hybrid workshops outside of the home country and supporting initiatives across the APMEA region.

Moreover, you will be involved in working closely with the Commercial Academy Global Senior Manager, getting approval from stakeholders, and aligning learning with Global and Regional strategies. The incumbent must ensure line manager accountability, update senior leaders, and collaborate with shared services to maintain training records on MyLearning, providing regular feedback. Expectations for workshops must be clearly communicated to respective leads and partners for smooth preparations. The role also involves updating and managing program details with Senior APMEA Stakeholders and co-creating content as part of the Global Commercial Academy team.

Key responsibilities

  • To conduct local workshops, including designing said workshops so that they are locally relevant to the Commercial Sales team, particularly with regards to core functional skills
  • Support may be required across marketing, business development, customer care and other cross functional teams on core business initiatives.
  • Accountable to collaborate with internal managers to support on the job learning.
  • Workshops will be deployed in a hybrid manner, outside of current residing country.
  • Support on initiatives elsewhere in the APMEA region, alongside with Commercial Academy Global Senior Manager
  • To ensure all learning is signed off by relevant stakeholders & aligned with Global and Regional Strategy.
  • Ensure accountability of line managers and keep senior leaders updated.
  • Collaborate with shared services to Ensure there is a system for all training records to be captured on MyLearning and provide quarterly feedback on progress to key stakeholders.
  • Provide clear expectations for all workshop arrangements to enable respective Functional, Country Leads, Site Admin and Account Partners to prepare for the workshops.
  • Update & manage program updates with Senior Stakeholders in APMEA -SAP (Exec & Commercial)
  • Co-create content as part of the Global Commercial Academy team.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Must have Commercial customer-facing experience
  • Beneficial to have a technical & commercial background in the food & beverage industry
  • Strong awareness of local customs & culture in Southeast Asia.
  • Confidence to deploy workshops virtually & Face to face.
  • Experience in facilitating and in speaking to large groups of people
