Learning Support Educator (Structured Literacy)

Petaling Jaya, Selangor

About the Role

Our client is a premier education center specializing in multisensory structured language (Orton-Gillingham Approach) and evidence-based interventions for children with specific learning disorders. The centre is committed to helping children improve their literacy skills, build confidence, and rediscover the joy of learning.
This role is

not a kindergarten position

--you will be working directly with children facing literacy challenges, with full training provided.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured, multisensory literacy lessons based on the Orton-Gillingham approach (training provided). Engage and motivate children through hands-on, interactive and developmentally appropriate activities. Prepare teaching materials and maintain an organised, conducive and child-friendly learning environment. Observe, assess and track each child's learning progress and development. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure effective lesson planning and student support. Build strong communication and partnership with parents regarding their child's progress. Manage classroom routines to ensure safety, hygiene and overall well-being of children. Participate in centre events, workshops, and parent-engagement activities.

Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education or related fields. Passionate about working with children and making a meaningful difference in their learning. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in

English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary: RM 2,500

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
