• Execute the leasing business plans to increase occupancy and revenue to the retail centres.
• Source suitable tenant mix based on the centre positioning of each assigned trade to strengthen the retail offerings.
• Coordinate the placement of appropriate brands to match the needs of each assigned trade.
• Manage relationships with assigned tenants or retailers effectively.
• Coordinate prospecting, site visit and technical clarification activities for assigned trade.
• Monitor Tenants' Gross Sales and plan for tenancy renewal and replacement, if required for the assigned trade.
• Initiate leasing negotiation and commercial terms discussion with the Tenants or Retailers to secure tenancies for the assigned trade.
• Conduct market survey to keep abreast of the latest retail trends and changes.
• Preparing tenancy management documentations and leasing reports as assigned.
• Support in positioning the property as a preferred destination for shoppers and tenants.
• Source, negotiate, and secure new tenants to ensure an optimal tenant mix aligned with the mall's positioning.
• Manage lease renewals, expansions, relocations, and terminations to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants to enhance retention and long-term partnerships.
• Conduct market surveys and competitor benchmarking to identify leasing opportunities and market trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations for tenant categories that align with consumer demand and footfall.
• Monitor rental collections, arrears, and ensure compliance with lease agreements.
• Prepare and present regular leasing reports, projections, and updates to management.
• Liaise with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to support tenant promotions, fit-out, and operational requirements.
• Ensure timely handover of premises and compliance with fit-out guidelines and mall standards.

Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business Studies or relevant fieldd.
Minimum one (1) year experience within shopping mall environment especially in the leasing of retail lots.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Efficient, accurate with details and with strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Malaysian Retail Market is an added advantage.
