LECTURER

KOREAN EDUCATION CENTRE (KEC) SECTION, UNIKL MIIT

(1016, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur)

KEY ROLES :

Plan and deliver teaching and learning activities in line with the syllabus, preparing students for admission to undergraduate studies at Korean universities. Develop, administer, and evaluate examinations, assignments, and learning materials. Actively participate in university activities such as academic marketing, open days, stakeholder briefings, and event management (e.g., Korean Culture Day, speech contests, industrial talks, and international student programs). Focus efforts on achieving outcomes aligned with the university's objectives. Adhere to all university rules, policies, and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS :

A Master's Degree in Korean Language, Korean Education, Linguistics, or a related field from a recognized Korean university (required) Native or near-native proficiency in Korean. Professional certification in Korean language teaching. Familiarity with the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) curriculum and international education pathways is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching or professional experience as a Korean language instructor for non-native speakers. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with excellent command of spoken and written English. Ability to handle heavy workloads, multitask efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated passion for student success and commitment to academic excellence. Willingness to contribute to administrative responsibilities and participate in institutional events.
