The School of Aviation Hospitality was established in early 2020 to offer the Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Diploma in Air Cargo Management and Diploma in Aviation Operation Management. Our programmes combine theory and practice and students apply their knowledge and skills in practicums, industry projects, and cooperative learning attachments. Our academic members are dedicated to excellence in teaching and research and are a vibrant and dedicated. The programmes aim to produce world-class graduates with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, entrepreneurial thinking and skills that are transferable across mediums, media, and settings. We are looking for graduates to fill vacancies as lecturers for the subject:

• Principles of Distribution And Logistics Air Cargo Management
• Principles of Air Cargo Insurance
• Air Cargo Customer Relationship Management
• Principle of Accounting And Finance
• Air Cargo Warehouse And Distribution

Responsibilities This position requires a commitment to teaching and scholarly activities, and contribution to programme administration and management. Teaching:

• Design, plan and deliver lectures, tutorials and other teaching and learning activities appropriate to their discipline, and subject to the requirements of the College;
• Contribute to the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programmes of study within their Department/School;
• Invigilate examinations and assessments and contribute to Subject and Programme Boards.

Administration and Management:

• Participate constructively in Department, School and/or College committees;
• Participate in internal and external events, such as open days, outreach activities, and visits to partner institutions and internship placements;
• Support and assist senior colleagues in ensuring the smooth running of the department and programmes;
• Provide academic counselling to students, referring them to other support services as required.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 1 year in related field.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation, as well as a high level of dedication as an educator, actively engaged in teaching, research, consulting, and publishing activities, as well as community service.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, a competent team player with mature and positive attitude; can communicate well both verbally and in writing; and has an educational philosophy that is aligned with the department\'s and the college\'s missions.
