Position 6 : Lecturer specializing in Ophthalmology

Clinical Experience



+

Extensive clinical experience in the field of Ophthalmology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye disorders


+

Experience in ophthalmic surgeries and procedures


Language Proficiency



+

Proficiency in English is usually required, as it is the primary language of instruction in many Malaysian medical schools


Professional Registration



+

Must be registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) or eligible for registration


Skills and Competencies



+

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team


+

Commitment to academic and clinical excellence, as well as continuous professional development


Commitment to Service



+

Dedication to patient care, education, and contributing to the academic and clinical environment of the institution


Medical Qualifications



+

Must hold a recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)


+

Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology, such as Master's (MS/MD) or equivalent


Research and Publications



+

Active involvement in research related to Ophthalmology


+

Publications in peer-reviewed medical journals focused on ophthalmic topics


Teaching Experience



+

Previous experience in teaching medical students and/or postgraduate trainees


+

Ability to conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions related to Ophthalmology
