Academic, Full Time (Contract)Location: Miri SarawakWe are seeking to appoint a teaching and research focus Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the Electrical and Computer Engineering department on a contract basis.The role holder will be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision and will be expected to make a significant contribution to research.Your new role\xc2\xb7 Deliver high quality teaching and assessment with a commitment to ongoing reflective improvement in teaching.\xc2\xb7 Supervise undergraduate and post graduate students\xe2\x80\x99 research projects/studies.\xc2\xb7 Conduct high quality research, attract competitive grants and maintain an active record of publications.\xc2\xb7 Contribute significantly to academic service, collegiality and engagement and external community engagement activities relevant to the discipline/profession.About You\xc2\xb7 A doctorate qualification in Computer Science related to software engineering.\xc2\xb7 Teaching experience at tertiary level and familiar with online teaching tools.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated high teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching delivery, with an emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching.\xc2\xb7 A strong understanding of pedagogical and contemporary educational practise relevant to the discipline\xc2\xb7 A high level of English verbal and written communication.\xc2\xb7 Ability to supervise postgraduate (Masters by research and PhD) students.\xc2\xb7 Ability to develop proposals for research funding, design research projects, lead and develop a research team.\xc2\xb7 An established record of research output and personal achievements with recent refereed publications.\xc2\xb7 High level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.Closing Date: Open until filledInterested applicants are invited to submit a latest resume which includes addressing the selection criteria, a covering letter, names and contact details of at least two referees and certified copies of your academic credentials.How to apply:Please address your applications to:Staffing Management Section,
