Job Description
Legal & Compliance Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal review and advice on commercial contracts, employment law, and regulatory matters. Standardizing commercial contracts and ensuring the company's operations adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements. Developing and enforcing internal compliance policies in line with local and regional regulations, monitoring regulatory changes, and advising senior management on legal risks. Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation strategies. Liaise with external counsel when necessary. Maintain accurate legal and compliance documentation and reporting.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law; legal qualification in Malaysia or Vietnam preferred. 3-5 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally in a regional setting. Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian legal and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus. Self-starter with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
