Job Description

• Minimum LL.B or Bachelor of Laws or equivalent from reputable institutions.
• Qualified lawyer with post-graduate diploma in Certificate in Legal Practice, UK\'s Bar Vocational Course, UK\'s Solicitors Qualifying Exam, Singapore Bar Examinations or China National Judicial Examination.
• Minimum 2 years post graduate working experience in legal or regulatory industries.
• With prior exposure to retail, FMCG, customs, manufacturing, supply chain industries.
• Excellent written and verbal command in English and Malaysia, additional knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in Companies Act, Sale of Goods Act, Trademarks Act, contract law, litigation and court rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Manage the drafting, review and negotiation process in property, tenancies and suppliers trading agreements with demonstration of business acumen.
• Handle the applications and related processes in intellectual property rights for the company and its products.
• Support trainings in different areas of law to internal clients including contracts, sale of goods, anti-bribery, local customs.
• Assist in the development of documentation system.
• Assist in handling regulatory and litigious matters.
• Coordinate the approval process and communication with internal clients and external stakeholders and lawyers.
• Regularly research on specialise laws and relevant rules and regulations relevant to the company\'s business.
