Job Summary: ASCOLAW is seeking a talented and experienced legal associate to assist the real estate partner in our real estate department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, experience in drafting legal documents, and the ability to provide high-quality legal services to our clients. Responsibilities: Assist the real estate partner in providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of real estate matters, including tenancy, leasing, sale and purchase agreements, financing agreements, and transfer of title. Draft legal documents such as tenancy agreements, sale and purchase agreements, financing agreements, and transfer of title documents. Conduct legal research and analysis to support the real estate partner in providing legal advice to clients. Communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of legal matters. Work with the real estate partner and other team members to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient delivery of legal services. Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, as well as industry trends and best practices. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the real estate practice department. Set goals and objectives in line with the firm\'s KPI and OKR methods and work towards achieving them. Requirements: Bachelor degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in Semenanjung Malaysia. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in real estate law. Strong drafting and legal research skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to real estate law. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential legal issues. Performance Evaluation: The legal associate work will be assessed on performance via the firm\'s KPI and OKR methodology. They will be expected to set and achieve goals and objectives in line with the firm\'s overall strategic plan and contribute to the success of the real estate practice department.
