Job Description

An established firm looking for an experienced banking litigation clerk to be part of our growing banking and recovery department.

1) Key Responsibilities:

a) Assist the lawyers in managing banking and financial litigation files (with focus on Court and land office foreclosure and auctions) from the beginning until completion, ensuring compliance with client/bank internal procedures.

b) Draft, prepare and file summons, affidavits, auction related forms, correspondence, and other legal documents related to

banking recovery actions

enforcement/execution proceedings

, bankruptcy or

insolvency matters

c) to monitor court dates/hearing and track deadlines for ongoing cases to ensure documents are filed on time.

d) Maintain accurate case calendars, and procedural timelines to ensure timely and responses to clients

e) able to coordinate and communicate with clients, valuers and external parties professionally.

f) Support lawyers with billing, file openings/closings, and other administrative tasks as required.

g) Maintain client confidentiality at all times.

h) Punctual, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently with minimum supervision

2) Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years working experience in banking litigation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
