Overview

Our client is part of a global alternative legal services division. They provide managed services, operational support, and digital transformation solutions to international clients. They handle commercial contracting, vendor negotiations, and project-based legal work across multiple jurisdictions, with particular strength in the financial services and corporate sectors.

Responsibilities

1)Advising and reviewing loan documents, which includes facility agreements, security
documents and other transaction documents, to ensure compliance with internal
policies and risk management practices.
2)Advising, reviewing and negotiating changes to standard facility letters, board resolutions,
and corporate guarantees to ensure that commercial objectives are achieved and internal
approvals are obtained.
3)Assist the deals team and other stakeholders by carrying out transaction management
role for loan transactions.
4)Reviewing and advising on non-standard corporate authorisation documents of banking
customers.

Requirements

1) Qualified lawyer with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in banking, project financing, or debt capital markets.
2) Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Office and Outlook.
3) Commercial and practical outlook.
4) Attention to detail.
5) Ability to build relationships and rapport, demonstrating credibility.
6) Confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
7) Ability to work on your own initiative and to take ownership of tasks, time and workload by
prioritising and managing expectations.

Preferred:
1) Exposure in drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents for syndicated and bilateral loans.
2) Familiarity with APLMA documents.
