Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel, APAC role with a tech company.
As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising in respect of a variety of tech related agreements
- Responding to the legal aspects in tender responses
- Liaise with the global legal team in EMEA and US and comply with any requests
- Assist with the APAC region to create / implement / review / amend processes/training as and when required
- Provide ad hoc legal advice and assistance when required
The ideal Legal Counsel, APAC will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must posses the below requirements;
- Qualifications in Law Degree or equivalent
- 1-4 years plus PQE or equivalent
- Technical/Vocational Skills
- Must be able to work independently for matters under the laws of Malaysia
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to render legal support in particular for China
- It would be an advantage to have telecommunications / IT experience or experience dealing with
