Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, this full-time and permanent position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our legal department and its\' growth. You are expected to work closely with key stakeholders in Asia to support client contracting in the North Asia Region (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, occasionally PRC) and provide support to group initiatives such as M&A projects and IT procurement projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Independently negotiate client and supplier contracts in esp. North Asia
• Provide support to group initiatives, such as M&A and IT procurement projects
• Work with the Vistra inhouse legal team to maintain and rationalise legal infrastructure such as online terms and conditions and policies
• Occasionally provide support to compliance related projects, including in respect of the (proposed) code and guidelines for implementing an uncertificated securities market in Hong Kong
• Provide other ad-hoc inhouse legal support from time to time.

Key Requirements:

• At least five (5) years of working experience in corporate and/or commercial experience at a law firm, in house or a combination.
• Possess Bachelor\'s Degree in Law.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Sound judgement
• Team player
• Able to work independently under low supervision.
• Self-motivated
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; conversational in Cantonese will be an advantage.
