Own It:

• Perform contract management (including drafting and reviewing) for all Pos Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s subsidiaries and business units and leading negotiation on strategic business agreements.
• Serve as Legal Advisor/Consultant to provide the relevant legal advice and guidance for Pos Malaysia Group across multiple jurisdictions.
• Evaluate exposure of business to legal risks to mitigate exposure across the group.

Build Trust

• Review documents that are against legal and regulatory requirements and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to make the necessary changes.
• Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate and practical legal advice on various matters involving legal support across the group.

One Team

• Work as one team with both internal and external stakeholders in providing solutions and resolve issues quickly.
• Provide support and guidance to the subsidiaries.

Move Fast

• Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the business or relevant departments for those changes done accordingly.
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving transformation journey.
• Adapt, simply and act quickly based on the business needs.

Delight Customers

• Work collaboratively with Internal stakeholders on any legal initiatives or strategies that could drive continuous improvement to be better.
• Maintain relationships and network with external legal counsels, professional advisors, consultant. Gain market latest best practices, insights, trends, and benchmarks.

Job requirements:

• Preferably Degree Holder in Law or related field.
• Minimum 6 - 7 years of experience in a legal corporate environment.
• Ability to draft and review contracts/letters.
• Ability to negotiate to come to a mutual consensus to ensure contract closure.
• Background with litigation matters is an added advantage.
• Critical and commercial thinking and analysis with strong attention to detail.
• Significant experience managing engagements with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptionally good communication skills (written and spoken).
• Multitasking abilities and able to work under pressure with good time management.
