Description Want your advice to go further As a Legal Counsel with Reckitt, you\'ll have the freedom to see your legal expertise have a significant impact in a major market. Join the Global Legal Procurement team to support the Global Procurement teams globally in Production Spend (direct purchasing). This role is responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Reckitt business in relation to its global procurement contracting activities. The role includes supporting: (i) the Global Procurement Legal team (based in Amsterdam, Slough and Kuala Lumpur) (ii) the Global Procurement team responsible for external manufacturing organizations (EMOs) or third-party manufacturing (predominately situated in Amsterdam and Slough) and (iii) other strategic procurement and commercial arrangements. This role will report into the Head of Legal - Global Production Spend. Responsibilities: Drafting, negotiating and supporting various procurement (production spend/direct purchasing) agreements (including EMO agreements, supply agreements, tooling agreements, refurbishment agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc), governed by English Law; Supporting large scale procurement/commercial activities and agreements including strategic advice; Providing legal advice (including contract law, competition law, etc) on complex international commercial transactions; Close collaboration with the Global Procurement team, Supply Services team, Global Legal Procurement team and other members of the Reckitt Group Legal team (including Group Compliance, Global Innovation Legal, Patents Brand Protection teams). Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Fluency in English, both oral and written - any additional languages would be advantageous; UK Law degree and admission as a lawyer/solicitor in the UK (or similar common law jurisdiction); 4-6 years post-qualification work experience in an international environment in private practice at a law firm and/or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational corporation or at an international business; Experience in drafting procurement and other commercial agreements; Excellent communication skills: written & oral; Advanced computer skills: experience with contract management software; understanding of information systems.
