Assisting the General Counsel on all matters related to the Legal Department such as research, drafting and review of documents including administrative tasks
Assisting in providing legal advice to the business units on a wide range of topics such as anti-money laundering law, antitrust law, corporate law, data protection law, and Hire Purchase Act 1967
Review, draft, vetting through agreements, contracts, legal document, correspondences and other documents to support business departments
Managing the local contract management system and providing support to the business
To communicate and liaise with external parties such as external counsels and local authorities as when required
To assist other ad-hoc task as assigned
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is preferred
Detail oriented, well-organized and positive work ethics
Proficient Microsoft Office Applications, such as Word, Teams and Outlook
Well versed in Powerpoint slides
Sound legal research and drafting skills
Proactive and able to work independently and as a team
Able to multitask and manage priorities
Good written and verbal command in English and Malay
