Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Provide clear legal advice on the Company's projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and mentor Junior Legal Counsels where required.
- Support the Legal Department with administrative and operational tasks.
- Monitor and follow up on post-contract matters to ensure timely execution and compliance.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments, particularly in corporate, financial, and fintech sectors.
- Identify potential areas of legal risk and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the Company's business objectives.
- Undertake ad-hoc legal assignments to support the effective running of the Legal Department.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years' working experience in a law firm or in-house, with a focus on corporate and commercial advisory and contract drafting.
- Prior exposure to the fintech or banking industry is a plus.
This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.
