Welcome to Merlin Magic Making (MMM), the creative heart of Merlin Entertainments. We are currently recruiting for a positive and enthusiastic LEGO Production Financial Accountant to join our team, based at our MMM creative hub in Johor, Malaysia. This role reports into the Finance Business Partner LEGO Production on a permanent basis. About the Role... You\'ll support our team in delivering business targets and budgets, providing analysis and solutions to drive conversations in leadership meetings. You\'ll review internal and external factors to provide information, insight, and tools, and build relationships with other functions. As an advocate of the Merlin Way, you\'ll demonstrate our key values and provide finance business partnering, prepare month-end commentary, and ensure compliance with laws. You\'ll liaise with third-party accountants, act as a key finance contact for audits, and support the Model Shop team. Finally, you\'ll investigate reported trends, provide variance analysis and modeling, and assist in managing Financial Governance, Risks, and Controls. About You...

• Finance degree educated
  
• Proven and demonstrable technical experience or business partnering experience
  
• Good analytical ability with a good attention to detail
  
• Good communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  
• Ideally have experience in a consumer facing organisation with a continuous improvement agenda
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in written English
