Position Overview:

This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests using our swimming pools and aquatic facilities. Candidates must be proficient swimmers and demonstrate strong awareness and quick response skills.

Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain constant surveillance of pools and water areas to ensure guest safety. Enforce pool rules and regulations in a professional and guest-friendly manner. Perform water rescues, administer first aid, and respond to emergencies as required. Conduct regular checks of pool facilities, equipment, and water safety apparatus. Assist with pool opening/closing duties, cleanliness, and readiness of the area. Provide friendly and proactive guest service, including answering questions and assisting with recreational activities. Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors. Participate in ongoing training, drills, and certifications to maintain high safety standards.

Requirements

Must be a proficient swimmer. Physically fit and able to respond quickly in emergency situations. Strong observation and communication skills. Professional, reliable, and safety-minded. Willingness to undergo lifeguard training and certification (Bronze Medallion or equivalent) if not already certified. Prior lifeguarding experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications (an advantage, not mandatory)

Bronze Medallion certification or equivalent lifeguard qualification. CPR/First Aid certification. Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, or aquatic safety.
