Liferay Developer (freelance, Remote)

Job Description
An International pharmaceutical MNC looking for a Liferay Developer for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Liferay platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and implement Liferay\'s Java-based technologies.
- Review production implementation - identify errors and resolve them, ensure the environment is stable
- Initiate and manage POC\xe2\x80\x99s and prototypes as required.
- Perform load testing on different environments.
- Technical advisor to business on what Liferay can offer out of box \xe2\x80\x93 diagnose and map business requirements.
- Develop collaboration, workflow and forms.
- Strong experience in Liferay 7.x, Java/J2EE, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
- Experience creating Liferay fragments using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and FreeMarker.
- Should be familiar with some of the following tools (ANT and Maven), (SVN or similar tools), (JUnit or similar tools).
- Defining, designing, and deploying new features with cross-functional teams.
- Debugging and fixing issues with existing Liferay applications.
- Ensure design reviews meet project requirements.
- Self-starter with good communication skills.
