About the role

We are hiring experienced and capable Technician for our Ipoh region facilities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with various other departments such as Service Sales, Quality, Environment/Health & Safety to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.

What you will be doing

Carry out 100% of lift maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory to achieve continual operation

Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship

To ensure that all works performed (i.e. servicing, parts replacement, repairs and breakdown) are documented with relevant customer\'s request

To attend as soon as reasonably possible, all breakdown callback assignments, especially to give priority for \'man trap\' situation

To perform other repair works as instructed by Supervisor

To report all abnormal findings to Supervisor for further action

Any others duties that may be given by the Supervisor from time to time

This position maybe required for 24-hour Breakdown Callback Standby duties

What you will need to be successful

At least 2-3 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry

Have basic Electrical, Electronic and or Mechanical knowledge, able to troubleshoot and solve technical problem will have added advantage

A committed professional, with Safety as your priority

Comfortable using electronic and digital tools

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Willing to travel inter-states within Northern region

Self-disciplined, curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team

Additional Requirements

This position is based in Ipoh, we invite candidates from Ipoh and nearby region to apply within

Due to nature of the job, this position requires frequent travel to sites, candidates are required to possess a valid driver\'s license and a motorcycle
