Your primary focus will be on managing the entire server infrastructure and application deployment, including critical manufacturing applications such as MES (Manufacturing execution system), test event tracking, Dynamic Assembly Document, parametric test DB, both in-house and through CMs. Your role will encompass Linux server administration, application support, automation scripting, and upgrades.Key Responsibility:

• Lead and manage a team of Linux server and application administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the entire server infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of critical manufacturing applications across multiple production lines, including troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any issues.
• Lead bug-fixing efforts on OFWeb application scripts (Perl/Python) and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide support for multiple production lines within a global Manufacturing Network, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure the smooth operation of production servers hosting MES and manufacturing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve server and application administration processes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid familiarity with Linux environments and server administration.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Perl 4, Perl 6, and Python 3 programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Apache httpd and mod_cgi module.
• Expertise in using Ansible for deploying and managing Linux applications.
• Familiarity with Jenkins build/deploy pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead and work with cross-functional teams.
