Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, root cause analysis and resolve OS-level issues through in-depth debugging and analysis

- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement targeted improvements.

- Ensure all system components adhere to established security standards and best practices.

- Manage system updates, apply patches, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

- Enhance system performance, optimize resource utilization and system tuning.

- Implement automation solutions to streamline system administration tasks, including patching, and configuration management.

- Actively participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills to ensure system failover readiness and enable swift recovery in the event of disruptions.

- Lifecycle Management - Oversee the full lifecycle of operating systems, including deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural designs, technical specifications, and workflow processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support

- Manage and maintain the Active Directory and DNS infrastructure

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Active Directory authentication, LDAP, DNS Service, DNS Resolution.

- Group Policy Management, User and Group Management: Create, modify, develop and enforce to ensure secure security across network.

Skills

- In-depth understanding of operating system concepts and principles.

- Expertise in major operating systems such as Windows server and Linux, including installation, configuration, hardening and patch.

- Strong knowledge in Patch management, Vulnerability management with hands-on experience using tools like AWS SSM, Qualys, Orca Security and Splunk.

- Strong grasp of system architecture, resource optimization, clustering and networking protocols.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective cross-functional teamwork.

- Active directory, DNS/DHCP, Group polices management.

- Knowledge in scripting for custom automation task.(e.g. PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Lambda and etc )

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

- Industry certification such as MCSE, RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,502.79 - RM10,000.00 per month
