Job Description

Linux Platform Engineer

Maintain RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/RedHat Openshift platform, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting Take part in migration efforts from VMware environments to Red Hat platforms Deploy and configure Redhat Openshift clusters On-Premises and Public Cloud platforms Deploy Redhat Openshift clusters in a containerized environment Migrate workloads and virtual machines from VMware environments to Red Hat platforms ensuring minimal downtime Write and shell scripts (e.g., Bash) and automation tools like Ansible for efficient system management and migration processes Troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance and leverage automation tools like Ansible to streamline workflows Manage SELinux, and ensuring compliance with policies during and after migration

Requirements:

Min 3 years administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems Experience in RedHat OpenShift and other Azure/AWS PaaS Hands on troubleshooting in Linux environments Ability to perform bash/shell scripting Experience in Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing containerized applications
