Position Overview

The Live Host is responsible for

hosting live sessions on social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or Shopee Live

, promoting products and services, and driving engagement and sales through compelling and professional on-screen presentation.

Requirements

Minimum SPM / Diploma

(fields of communication, media, or marketing are an added advantage). Confident, articulate, and comfortable speaking in front of the camera. Cheerful, energetic personality with the ability to capture and maintain audience attention. Fluent in Malay (English proficiency is a bonus). Able to work during evenings or weekends when required for live sessions. Experience as a Host / KOL / Promoter / Influencer is an added advantage.

Task and Duties

Conduct live sessions consistently according to the designated schedule. Introduce and explain products/services clearly, convincingly, and creatively. Actively engage with viewers by answering questions, reading comments, and encouraging purchases. Increase engagement, viewership, and conversion rates during live sessions. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan scripts, themes, and live session strategies. Ensure the set, lighting, audio, and product preparation are in good condition before going live. Generate new ideas to make live session formats more engaging and effective. Prepare brief performance reports for each live session (viewers, comments, sales, watch time).
