Job Description

The Load Control Executive will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of aircraft load while adhering to safety and operational standards. This role is crucial in the Aviation industry and requires a detail-oriented professional with technical expertise.

• Assist the Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily load control operations, ensuring effective supervision of both operational and support teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between Centralised Load Control (CLC), Flight Operations, Stations, Cargo, and Operations Control to facilitate seamless communication and operational alignment.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of load planning, weight and balance calculations, and loadsheet preparation.
• Review and validate operational documentation, including loadsheets and Notification to Captain (NOTOC), ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
• Manage operational support activities, such as staff rostering, shift scheduling, and flight assignments, to maintain optimal coverage and efficient workflows.
• Organise and deliver training programs, including hands-on sessions, simulations, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercises.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators, such as loadsheet accuracy, turnaround times, and incident rates, providing regular updates to management.
• Investigate and support resolution of operational issues, safety incidents, or delays related to load control processes.
• Promote and uphold a safety-first culture across all operational activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Load Control.

A successful Load Control Executive should have:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a technical background is an added advantage.
• 4-5 years of experience in airline operations, with prior exposure to load control considered beneficial.
• Proven experience in leading and managing operational teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Certifications in Weight & Balance and Dangerous Goods Regulations will be an advantage.
