Responsible for handling and expediting all the finish goods loading/unloading process and coordinate all the movement of the truck/containers for product delivery out activities in safe and efficient mode to meet production targets.
Maintain the records of loading and filing process.
Ensure that all safety procedures and standards are maintained and followed in carrying out any works in his area.
He is responsible to Day Superintendent and work closely with Sr. Technician, and to carry out any related tasks as requested or instructed as guidance to carry out the duties.
Any usual event, unsafe conditions, near miss, incident and accident shall be reported to Day Superintendent/Shift Superintendent for corrective action and further response.
Main Accountabilities:
Follow all plant safety requirements and participate in activities to continuously improve safety performance. Lead/participate in department and site safety initiatives including attending and leading safety meetings as assigned.
Comply to work procedures (SOPs), Synthomer Policies, Code of Conduct, Employee handbook, Core Values, SHEMS, SHE principles/10 golden rules, safety induction, QMS procedures and regulatory requirements to meet departmental objectives and ensure work activities are performed safely.
To follow all application of the Ten Golden Rules for Stock Management.
Proper monitoring executes and handling all related to the finish good loading/unloading process and activities in safe and efficient for product delivery out on time as per customer requirements including sampling management. Follow and comply the related procedures/SOPs.
Handle and carry outside activities required at loading bay area i.e hygiene management, hoses management, change filter bag, spillage management, line flushing, collecting mixed latex and rework, drains and sump pit management, bottle sample management, labelling, latex treatment, transferring, blending, etc.
Minimize the white-water generation and communicate with utility tech before proceeding white water transfer to pre-treatment. Ensure no white water left over in loading pump tray.
Liaise with Plant Logistic Assistant/immediate supervisor for the loading information.
Monitor, guide and instruct contract worker for helpers/housekeeping activities only by following the SOPs and site rules.
Follow, comply, and prepare the relevant form/checklist for finish good loading/unloading process and any other written record considered as necessary by management.
Ensure and check the lorry container/ISO tank/Flexi bag/IBC\xe2\x80\x99s conditions for product delivery are meet Synthomer standard, reject it if not meet.
Ensure the data/information related to the delivery documentation including seal number are accurate and tally.
Participating and complete any training and competency program provided.
Keep in constant contact with Sr. Technician as to the operational needs and work together to resolve present and potential problems.
Keep the Day Superintendent/Shift Superintendent informed and always up to date, on any troubles/problem i.e. Equipment malfunction, potential failures, abnormalities, or changes concerning or affecting operations. To seek guidance from him on any uncertainties or unresolved issues.
To maintain a 5S, clean and safe work area as required to meet company\xe2\x80\x99s housekeeping standards and to allow orderly completion of duties.
Keep proper relief or hand-over to the oncoming technician about all the process information, problems, operation changes and special tasks.
Work closely with maintenance and contractors ensuring permits and equipment insolation(s), line clearing, confirm to safety standard and procedures.
To be competent person as Emergency Respond Team, Fire Fighting, Rescue Team, AESP, First Aider and Forklift driver and perform the duty as per required.
Job Requirement:
Engineering Certificate / Diploma in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering with 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in loading/unloading activities.
Knowledge in Operations reporting protocol application, process unit and utilities operations management, standard operating procedure development and implementation, emergency response management and sample management.
Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Willing to work on 12 hour shift, weekends, and public holidays.
