POSITION TITLE: Local Market Readiness Manager (Insurance)

CONTRACT DURATION: 12 Months Contract (Covertable to Permenant)

SALARY: Up to RM12,000

WORK LOCATION: Taman Perindustrian Bandar Kinrara. 47180 Puchong, Selangor.

WORKING DAYS: Monday - Friday

WORKING HOURS: 08:30AM - 05:30PM

WORK MODE: Flexible Hybrid / Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:

  • The job holder plays a key role in implementing the digital strategy for insurance in the Overseas Markets in Asia-Pacific. The focus will be on successful implementation of insurance in the online car sales initiative of implementing the insurance specific Insurance Point of Sale Solution (IPOS) solution
  • The key focus of the role is to establish business process and technical readiness of a market where insurance systems will be implemented. With an in-depth understanding of the market needs and as-is processes, to engage closely with the rollout market and Product Team to ensure scalability and usability of the solution into the planned digital landscape. We count on you that all critical topics for Insurance are defined, aligned and committed prior to the technical implementation of the solution and to drive continuous exploration with markets, Product Owners and external partners
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Drive digitalization of the Insurance business in close cooperation with the Insurance Services Headquarters, Performance Centre (PC) and local insurance managers as well as other entities
  • Prepare local market readiness of integrating Insurance into the customer journeys by using our global Insurance Point of Sale Solution (IPOS)
  • Identify market needs and proactively analyse as-is processes with the aim to increase integration readiness with the existing scalable product portfolio
  • Prepare GAP analysis that clearly illustrate the delta between planned and current digital product(s) and processes
  • Analyses of market needs, document initial feature description, acceptance criteria and needs in the Product Backlog for the Product Team to explore and prioritize
  • Manage and coordinate market Change Requests (CRs) with the Product Team and jointly prioritize with the Product Owner to flow with the product backlog
  • Foster awareness of Agile Framework and processes among market stakeholders and rollout counterparts
  • Coordinating project resources to ensure project expectations are met
  • Documentation of project status, tracking milestones and risks, and designing a risk mitigation plan
  • Drive standardization and scalability whilst identifying any critical issues to be reflected under local regulatory, legal and data compliance aspects
  • Collaborate closely together with your manager, market(s) as well as other Insurance and company colleagues and are the knowledgeable counterpart for Insurance
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in business administration, business informatics or Finance/Insurance related field or equivalent level of education
  • Agile / SAFe certified or Certified Product Owner a plus
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies of agile working methods and tools (Jira, Confluence, Kanban) and preparation/implementation of digital solutions
  • Strong knowledge of process modeling, requirement engineering and testing approaches
  • Preferably at least 5 years of operational experience preferably in digitalisation topics related to insurance and/or finance industries
  • Knowledge in all MS Office Products (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Contractual Level or native English
  • Analytical and project management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Very good understanding of and dedication for digital business
  • Distinct social competency to interact across departments and reporting lines
  • Proactive, structured and committed individual with solution orientation and very good communication skills virtually and in person
  • Eager to learn and be flexible to take other duties as assigned or proactively chosen by you
