The nurse must be able to assess, treat, and manage various types of wounds, including diabetic, pressure, and post-surgical ulcers.
Perform wound dressings and other clinical procedures.
Provide patient education on wound care.
Assist with minor surgical procedures, such as an incision and drainage (I&D).
Manage clinic inventory, including wound care supplies.
Provide basic nursing care.
Handle patient registration and inquiries.
