ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
This role requires planning export shipments, customs clearance, analyzing export trends, and/or ensuring fulfillment efficiency to customers. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assist with planning shipping from the Distribution Centre to the customers.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinate logistics activities to ensure delivery of products meet specifications.
  • Responsible for planning delivery requirements by determining the quantity and date of materials needed to ensure optimal inventory levels and delivery expectations.
  • Plan detailed operations from production output and delivery schedules on export delivery.
  • Plan bookings of transportation for export shipments by ensuring the transportation schedule can meet the production schedule and customer-required delivery time.
  • Coordinate with warehouse for export documentation and liaise with a freight forwarder/transporter on the customs clearance for exportation; the clearing & forwarding process, liaise with customs and maintain required customs documentation.
  • Prepare work orders for delivery processing and coordinate with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to governmental customs specifications and time requirements.
  • Audit vendors\xe2\x80\x99 invoices to ensure that correct charges have been applied according to the services rendered to ADM.
  • Implement supply chain, material management, and logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flow.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and preparing export reports.
  • Coordinate supply chain, material management, and logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Participate in process effectiveness and continuous improvement projects.
  • Interface with manufacturing, warehouse, customer, and logistics vendor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Implement lean concepts and continuous improvements in the supply chain, material management, and logistics systems and processes.
  • Manage claims queries, follow up with internal stakeholders and vendors, and update customer
  • Participate in the supply chain, material management, and logistics research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.
  • Other job functions as and when required by the department.


Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
:
  • Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in the related fields
  • Good knowledge of the import-export process with 2 years of experience
  • Well-versed in logistical supply chain and customs requirements.
  • Well-versed in vendor selection and negotiating/developing contracts/ logistics arrangements.
  • Able to work in shifts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
