Position: Logistics Assistant

Job Location: Senai, Johor, Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Import

• Receive notification from forwarder to confirm the customs form, invoice & packing list.
• Checking and verify the documents (To advice HS code & item details)
• To arrange import shipment collection, forwarder or courier booking arrangement. This including the shipment monitoring and documentation.
• To confirm the draft customs form and follow up the final customs form.
• To follow up on shipment Estimate Time Arrival (ETA)/Port of Discharge (POD) to plant R&D team.
• To perform manual update on the pre-audit tracker.

• Receive email notification with sample request form from R&D team.
• To communicate with the warehouse team on the packing details.
• Prepare manual Commercial Invoice Packing List (CIPL) based on the sample request form.
• Booked shipment with the courier and prepare AWB (Courier consignment note)
• Send pre-alert to the courier, and consignee & requested to update the shipment collection, and customs declaration preparation.
• To confirm the draft customs form (based on the CIPL) and follow up the final customs form. This including to follow-up on shipment status.

• Follow up draft report FIZ report with R&D
• Manual update of the Customs declaration detail in FIZ report (item line level)
• Compile the report checking the stock opening, movement & closing.
• Submit FIZ report for zone authority checking.
• Submit Final FIZ report to Customs and follow up for approval.

• To scan full set of import and export document and upload in share point.
• To compile complete document and prepare cover page for import & export.
• To update the document indexing for import and export documents.
• Perform filing of import, export and compliance documentation

• Bachelor\'s Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years related Export/Import Logistics and Transportation.
• Experience in export and import compliance at a multi-national consumer packaged goods company preferred.
• SAP system experience preferred.
