Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, managing transportation, and supporting the overall distribution process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics systems, with a focus on optimizing processes to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and scheduling. Develop transportation plans that align with distribution center needs. Oversee order picking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage inventory. Collaborate with dispatching teams to optimize routes and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics activities. Assist in resolving any logistical issues that arise during transportation or distribution.

Requirements

Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles is preferred. Familiarity with fleet management practices and transportation planning. Knowledge of freight operations and distribution center processes. Proficiency in using transportation management systems and related software. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
