Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Logistics Manager

to lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations for a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role oversees land and sea logistics, fleet planning, export operations, and team management across multiple plants.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise logistics teams supporting daily operations at

Ipoh and Sungai Buloh plants

Plan, coordinate, and review transportation requirements to support daily dispatch volumes of up to

6,000 MT

Develop and execute fleet and distribution schedules to meet supply chain demands efficiently Monitor and optimize delivery schedules for: Bagged and bulk cement Export cement Export clinker Manage distribution via

road, rail, and sea

to minimize operational costs Oversee export and import logistics, including port operations, vessel loading, berth management, and stockpile handling Monitor clinker handling losses during vessel loading and ensure accountability Prepare and analyze operational reports including: Monthly Management Meeting (3M) reports SNOP weekly reports Export and clinker delivery reports Drive continuous improvement in logistics efficiency, manpower planning, customer service, and distribution systems Liaise closely with internal departments and external stakeholders including transporters, shipping agents, port authorities, and regulatory bodies Maintain strong relationships with transporters and stay updated on freight trends and Malaysian road regulations Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, health & environment (SHE) standards, and quality systems (ISO, TQM, 5S, QPP, Poka-Yoke) Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain

, or a related field Minimum

5 years of experience

in land and sea logistics within a

high-volume, fast-moving manufacturing environment

Proven experience managing and supervising a logistics team Strong knowledge of export procedures and documentation, including: Incoterms Customs clearance processes Letter of Credit (LC), Export Permit (AP) Proforma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), Certificate of Origin (CO) Customs K2 / K4 forms (added advantage) Strong analytical skills with attention to logistics data, figures, and reporting Excellent planning, coordination, and people management skills Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
