Prepare import and export documentation for finished goods and raw materials (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) in compliance with Malaysian customs and international trade regulations.
Monitor customs declaration submissions, coordinate clearance procedures, and resolve issues arising from documentation discrepancies (e.g., customs inspections, supplementary documents).
Liaise with freight forwarders to obtain shipping quotations, arrange bookings, and track shipment status.
Verify freight forwarder invoices using Excel data comparison functions to ensure billing accuracy.
Issue "Shipping Notification" forms to align schedules with warehouse and commercial teams.
Oversee the complete shipping process--from dispatch to delivery--addressing delays, damages, or other issues, while keeping all stakeholders informed.
Utilize SAP and customs-related systems to maintain import/export master data and monitor SAP posting status.
Prepare regular logistics cost analysis reports to optimize transport strategies and reduce expenses.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Supply Chain Management
,
Business Administration
, or related field.
Solid experience in
import/export documentation
, preferably within the
Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)
industry.
Strong written and spoken proficiency in
Chinese
and
English
.
Excellent communication skills, with strong risk awareness and problem-solving abilities.
