A well-known FMCG manufacturing company is currently recruiting for a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager/Senior Manager job to manage the distribution and supply chain needs of the company to streamline and improve its processes where necessary.

About the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager/Senior Manager Role:
In this position, you will lead the logistics and supply chain management at a group level to streamline and improve processes in its various plants across the country. Also, to manage the importation and storage operations to increase efficiency of each plant's workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and streamline the fleet management across the group to optimise its delivery operations
• Consolidate and coordinate between FG inventories and logistics availability to develop efficient deliveries and reduce delivery lead times
• Monitor and improve logistics costs such as demurrage, detention charges and delivery costs
• Understand the logistics and warehousing operations and needs within the group and implement cost-improvement solutions
• Conduct analysis on logistics and fleet management processes to identify opportunities for improvements and to develop strategies for logistics upgrading and procurement

To succeed in the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager/Senior Manager role, you will need to be well versed with logistics operations and improvement strategies/change management to further improve the supply chain environment of the company.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant field of study
• Over 10 years of working experience in logistics management
• Proven track record in fleet planning & management and cost controlling
• Seasoned in negotiating transportation SLA for Bulk delivery, FTZ clearance and managing customs
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to manage complex procurement scenarios, strong expertise in conflict management and displays strong sense of urgency
