• Position: Logistics Coordinator.
• Salary: RM 2800-3500.
• Location: Kelana Jaya (5-day week), Petaling Jaya

Chrisjac Recruitment is currently working with our long standing client, a highly reputable international logistics freight forwarder in seeking passionate and experienced freight logistics professional to join their strong and dedicated team in Petaling Jaya. With their head office at Kelana Jaya and several overseas agency network, they boast a professional paperless working environment, the latest industry software (Cargowise), a very stable team of customer oriented staff and an excellent reputation in the market place.

The Logistics Coordinator functions as an interface between international and domestics service providers and within broader business.
As the Freight administrator, you will be working within a close and supporting team environment within the Export/Import department. Overall, you will be providing your assigned clients base guiding them through a seamless shipping and logistics process and be the link between both internal departments and external service providers.
The role will include handling export/import shipments for all LCL clientele, from freight bookings, allocations to final delivery and cargo received to clients overseas.
Duties will entail and involve the following role process:
\xc2\xb7Receiving and processing bookings of shipments.
\xc2\xb7Coordinating bookings with shipping liners.
\xc2\xb7Liaising and coordinating with clients, shipping carriers and overseas agents.
\xc2\xb7Preparing relevant export documentation.
\xc2\xb7Preparing freight/shipping rates, raising and issuing invoices.
The candidate
Malaysian preferable female in age group 23-40.
The ideal candidates should have a proven track record of some 2-3 years of freight operations experience in handling exports and/or import sector, including recent experience with export/import operations role within forwarding or with a co-loader. In this connection, candidate with strong understanding of international shipping and also domestic transport will be highly advantageous to fill this role.
The successful candidates for this role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and accurate comprehend information is imperative as you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders to collectively produce the desired outcome for the business clients.
